Sunfunnels is a flower field and eccentric mixed media design studio serving Nevada City, Grass Valley, and the Lake Tahoe Area in California. This year we are SooO excited to be farming our favorite flowers again!! In the off season we are using market flowers to fill orders and sourcing local and regional whenever possible. Owner Juli Elin has been a lifelong artist who started growing her own flowers on a large scale in 2022.
Sunfunnels is a made-up word essentially meaning to “channel happiness,” which is easy to accomplish when flowers are involved.
about Juli
A long time resident of Nevada city but born in the swamps of Florida. Juli combines her love of plants and art into sculptural floral design. She has a BFA degree form the Univeristy of Florida that has helped inform her floral work.
